03.12.2009There haven't been many changes to the site in a few months, but don't fear because changes are coming!  We are currently gathering new projects and updating the website to a different "higher-tech" format to increase the interactive features!        
  10.26.2008 The BattCycle is finally up and running again, ready to be a full scale commuter vehicle.  The comment ready version of TheRenewableYou.com is up and running on our local computers.  A few more bugs to get out and then ready for all to use!
  10.01.2008 Still working on discussion updates and posting new projects.  If you are in the area be sure to check out the Kick Gas Festival in San Diego on Sunday October 12, 2008.  Should be a good opportunity to see some real electric speed.

Also, the Solar Fan project page has been updated with information about annual carbon emissions savings for the system. 

  09.22.2008 After months of thinking, thinking and more thinking, finally an epiphony, and the perfect name for what to date has been know as the Electric Motorcycle Conversion.  I have always thought it looked like the Bat-cycle, and after saying that enough.... the BattCycle is born. 
  09.19.2008 The EMC page has been updated with pictures of the LED lighting system, a system which is allowing me to save a whole lot of energy out of my auxiliary battery.

We are also working to add a discussion / comment feature to the RenewableYou, to allow project discussion, comments and questions on each RenewableYou project page.  Should be operational shortly!
  09.11.2008 The solar air heater page and the main portion (minus some cost data and an Appendix I'm still searching for) is up for exploration.  I never got the chance to actually build this design, but with winter coming, that may change soon.  Let me know if you have something similar and I will post your pictures!

The Renewable You has undergone several cosmetic updates in preparation for the addition of new projects.  A little end of summer cleaning.

Two projects are still on their way.  One is a solar air heater built from materials from any hardware store.  The second is a solar powered radio.  Coming very soon.
  08.28.2008 The EMC project file and site has been updated with the latest pictures and information.  Only a few more things before its all done.  This includes turn signals, mirrors, a better battery packing and of course registration / insurance.  Soon the PDF will be complete and we will be on towards the next projects.
